(More customer reviews)I love this coffee maker! No more cleaning pots, bitter burnt coffee, coffee filters, daily cleaning, grinding coffee beans etc... This coffee maker does it all! The Impressa F8 makes the best coffee I ever tasted. It is almost too good to be true. All you have to do is select your cup size and press a button...it is that easy. We have three people in our house who drink coffee in the morning now everyone gets a fresh cup of coffee whenever they want. No more drinking the burnt bitter left over coffee that has been sitting in the pot for who knows how long. Cleaning is as easy as pressng a button all you need to do is empty the used bean tray every so often (the machine tells you when). If you drink coffee every day...this is well worth the cost! I wish I had one of these sooner!

Large shelves in ref. door for milk jugs which frees up room on main shelves. No fingerprints door surfaces. A great value. We couldn't find a better refrigerator for the money.

(More customer reviews)I read reviews of multiple automatic expresso machines (deLonghi, Saeco, Gaggia, etc) and was concerned that most brands tend to have some negative reviews of their selected expresso machine breaking down after some time. Since there was no single review that reports on the reliability of these machines, I decided to take my chance with this expresso machine.
The manual of this expresso maker lacks sufficient instructions. Mine came with the new series Intenza water filter. The instruction, with the new water filter, instructs that the existing small white filter needs to be removed and does not provide instructions on its removal. It is only upon calling Saeco customer service that I understood how the small white filter can be removed. And when necessary, I sometimes called Seattle Coffee Gear, whom I originally bought mine from, who has excellent product expertise and customer service.
Most automatic expresso machines come with plastic parts from in to out. So this machine stands out in that the main body is still made from steel.

This product comes with an inbuilt grinder, with small to coarse grinder settings, and thus making it super-handy (fully automatic!).
I used this machine to brew some Blue Mountain coffee. It came out so rich in aroma and taste. Previously I was using some traditional filter to brew this coffee and was not able to discern the aroma and taste of this Blue Mountain coffee.

And the frother is able to froth the milk with a consistent quality as well. And it comes with the option of hot water as well.
I bought this during Jan 2010, so I can't comment on the reliability as yet. So far I cleaned this up after each use. In case, this machine starts breaking down, I will update my review so that future buyers can be fore-warned.1.5 mths later:
Upon power on, the 2 top & 1 bottom leftmost LEDs started flashing. I referred to the manual and it indicated loading and to wait. After waiting 10 mins and resetting the machine, I still observed the same phenomenon. After some tests, I found that it needed priming. So far this has happened twice in the last 2 weeks and priming solves the problem. Saeco USA needs to improve on their manual instructions !!!

Reliable V95 Digital Velocity 1500-Watt Steam Iron Review

(More customer reviews)Back in July, I purchased this iron as my latest, expensive Rowenta iron started leaking like a sieve (at just over 1 year old). This iron is fantastic! From the first time I used it, it has been great.
The Reliable iron has a separate chamber and heat source for the water that generates the steam. This means that steam is available at a lower heat setting than usual. Also, the steam is consistent - no spitting, leaking or dribbling. The steam can be used with the iron in a vertical position (for steam-pressing a garment). The iron has two steam settings. The higher steam setting puts forth a tremendous amount of steam - just like a steam generator iron but without having a separate water tank to deal with.
The manufacturer does recommend using distilled water (really the only downside). The iron has removable/replaceable filters to extend the life of the iron by filtering out the mineral deposits that can prematurely gunk up an iron.
All in all, this is one terrific iron. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially to anyone who does sewing/quilting. Fantastic iron!

Mr.coffee 35 Anniversary Maker Review

(More customer reviews)Over the years, I have had Mr. Coffeemakers and have been pleased with every one. After a couple of years, they seem to have a shelf life..they up and die on you but during that couple of years..they make darn good coffee.
In the meantime, I have tried the Cuisinart top of the line, a couple of the Barista models (Starbucks) and every one of them made coffee that made me despair. It wasn't as if these two manufacturers' products did not have a shelf life, because they conked out; the reason they had no shelf life was that I threw them out, because I could not get a good cup of coffee.
Well, I am back. I just picked up my new Mr. Coffee Classic today and just tasted the coffee...hmmm good. It has all of the bells and whistles, but does not automatically grind the coffee. I did not want that feature; because none of them get the coffee the way I like it. I have a separate grinder to grind up my coffee beans now. However, Mr. Coffee does have models that grind the beans as well if you must have that feature built into your coffee maker.
This model has cord storage, ambient light, 2 to 4 hour warmer with icon, brew strength, make coffee now or delay button(s), clock, pause button, warming pad, place for cups, filter, water filter, pretty much everything all of the more expensive brands have for much, much less. And best of all, it works. You can have a great cup of coffee.
By the way, I have even purchased the most inexpensive Mr. Coffee models in the past; and even these models outclassed the coffee of the Cuisinart and Barista models I had. I honestly believe that keeping it simple works best and Mr. Coffee knows how to brew coffee. Haven't tried making cocoa yet; but think that would be dynamite.
Anyways, I am very pleased with my purchase and feel like I have come home again with a thrifty buy. Just wanted to share my experiences so that you do not pay too much for a machine which does not give you what you want: a good cup of coffee.

The only problem with it is that the filter is too strong for the size of the tank. When we placed the fish in the tank he freaked out and couldn't stop swimming around because the current was too strong. We had to pull the filter out and now we have to change out the water once a week. It's more work than we wanted for ourselves and our 6 1/2 year old son.

ECM Rocket Giotto Premium Espresso Machine Review

(More customer reviews)We wanted a machine to replace our aging Starbucks Estro Vapore espresso maker. Tried the Nespresso and Breville machines and neither gave us the degree of control, variability (my wife is a latte drinker, I'm triple shot Americanos drinker) and consistency. The Rocket gives consistent high quality shots and we love it.
It does take a while to heat up, about 10-15 minutes to readiness and there is some 'care and feeding' in terms of letting steam out, pre-heating the head, etc. But if you are willing to do that, you've got a great cup of coffee. Its also pretty sensitive to the grind and tamp, but I believe that's true of all high quality machines.
There are good videos on line for setting up the machine, doing the shots, steaming the milk and maintaining/cleaning it.
Very happy with the purchase.
