(More customer reviews)This is a perfect fit for Lee's Herp Habitat (Large Size: 23 1/4" x 17 1/2" x 11 3/8"). It will fit in the back right or left hand corner with no space between the wall and island for your critters to accidently get stuck in. Suction cups in the back hold it snuggly in place. Filter itself is very quiet but the output will make some noise (it's meant for shallow water and you're going to get splashing). You can minimize this by stacking rocks up front to create a small water fall or 'planting' a small fake aquarium plant (bushy/leafy) beneath the output. Both options will also camaflouge the already non-obtrusive filter. I chose to do the later and it worked perfectly. Hardly a sound and our Fire Belly Toads love hanging out in the plant to sit under the flowing water.
