(More customer reviews)Despite other reviews, I think this bowl is absolutely perfect. I had a betta live 4 years in this bowl, which is remarkably long for a Betta. Easy to do weekly water changes. A heater can be put in this bowl if you desire. They make mini heaters for 2-5 gallon tanks. I don't have a heater and with my thermostat set at 71 degrees in the house, the tank stays warm enough and my Betta is happy. I like the fact that it is glass, I hate acrylic tanks. Be sure you construct some type of cover for the top, as Bettas will jump out of a tank.
