(More customer reviews)We've had nothing but trouble with this coffee maker. It never makes a truly good cup of coffee, no matter what brand you use or how much coffee you put in. Also, it started leaking water shortly after we bought it! At first it was just a little bit, but now it leaks more and more! We kept a folded up towel under it for months, but it has gotten so bad that we finally bought a new coffee maker today. We should have returned it to Sears right away, but waited too long, so in the trash it goes...
Some other complaints:
This thing is huge!! I think they were trying to make it look like an expensive commercial appliance, but there's nothing fancy about it! It also has a heavy duty three prong cord - not sure why, all is has is a regular programmable timer. Maybe they needed to ground the plug since it leaks so much water?!
The only "fill line" is inside the back of the coffee maker where you pour the water in. Most coffee makers have these on the outside so it's easy to see how much water you're pouring in.
Kenmore usually sells good appliances, but don't waste your money on this one!
